Dietetic Association offers the Handbook of Medical Nutrition
Therapy: The Florida Diet Manual 2007/2008 edition in three
different formats:
- Hard Copy
- Internet
- Intranet
The Hard Copy version comes in an easy-to-use three ring
binder with reproducible patient education materials. Hard copy
manuals are updated every two years. If you are a hospital
or organization that may purchase multiple hard copy manuals,
please consider the Intranet version for its economical price.
Most Intranet purchases are cheaper than multiple hard copy orders.
The Internet version is perfect for practitioners and
dietetic students who want worry free quarterly updates, built-in
search capabilities, cross-referenced topics, keyword definitions,
online calculators, and the escape of a 700 plus page paper back
manual.
For those who can't decide, we offer a combination package; one
Internet subscription and one paper back manual at a reduced price.
The Intranet version is very appealing for medium to large
patient care facilities, since it can be installed on corporate
and hospital Intranets. You get all of the benefits of the Internet
version without the huge cost of individual subscriptions. Updates
to the Intranet version are provided quarterly at no additional
charge.

The formula to determine your initial investment is:
$595.00 for the first 100 beds, then $179.00 for each addtional
100 beds or its equivalent.
If you are an outpatient facility your formula is similiar:
Average annual patient visits divided by 100, then $550.00
for the first 100 and $179.00 for each additional 100 or
its equivalent.

Renewal rate for the 2008 Internet Subscirption is $65.00 a year,
per subscription. Renewal rate for the Intranet version is $65.00
per 100 beds or its equivalent each year.

All orders must be prepaid, including shipping charges and sales
tax. Sales tax is required for non-exempt Florida residents/businesses.
Tax exempt Florida residents/businesses must provide their Tax
Exempt certifcate number when ordering. Returned checks are
